We are investing over £1m in an entire refit throughout the club. We know the local community care about what's happening, so we thought we'd launch this site to keep you updated!

The Renovation Journey
PHASE 1: Admin
We've done some essentials, roofs, windows, doors, cameras, all new electrics, air con, hot water and the like.
We're now constructing our admin centre to help us co-ordinate and manage the rest of the refit and ultimately the club!
We think that'll be done by August 2026 meaning we can get on with the really exciting stuff!

Phase 2 : Hospitality
We know in the height of its life Trent Country Club was a great place to gather, celebrate, meet, eat, remember loved ones who aren't here and make new memories with loved ones who are. It was part of the community. We want it to bring back those days.
We know times are hard, and bars are closing in their droves, but we think there's a market for a high end bookable function suite, events venue and community hub. We'll be booking guest chefs for our secret supper club nights and hosting regular open nights with events and entertainment.
We even think there'll be an appetite for meetings, clubs and groups so watch this space.
Gym, Sports and Space
Mid 2027
PHASE 3: Wellness
We have a Gym and 3 squash courts to work with, we are hoping to bring options like paddleball, pickleball, squash and a multi purpose studio for everything from Yoga to Clubercise.
We are even chatting to a rock climbing company who may want to work with us in one of our spaces. We don't know what the future of the sports centre will be, but we're working hard to bring something fresh to the Club!
